Terminal Creek Contemporary is pleased to present a limited preview of Carpe Fin, the latest work from Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas Art Studios.
Though the actual work was begun in 2016, the ideas embedded within Carpe Fin started as a series of watercolour sketches as far back as 2001. Completed only recently, it is now a 12 square meter water-colour and ink mural on custom made Japanese paper. The artwork was commissioned by a major U.S. arts institution and will enter its permanent collection in late November 2018.
The work will be available for viewing from November 5 to November 25 by appointment only by phoning 604-561-9895 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Original sketches, Ink paintings and other studio studies will also be on display and for sale.
